For years, I quietly admired the idea of being part of a sisterhood but I never took the step to join one. That changed two years ago when my dear friend and colleague, Ms. Gonzaque, invited me to a Ladies of Distinction (LOD) meeting. That invitation opened the door to a new chapter in my life filled with connection, empowerment, and shared purpose.

This was your vision, Ms. Gonzaque, and I am honored to help bring it to life with the Ladies of Distinction Pearls.

To the LOD Pearls and Mrs. Nurse, thank you for your creativity, dedication, and unwavering commitment. Together, we didn’t just paint a mural, we brought a vision to life. Every brushstroke carried purpose and passion, and it was a true joy to create something meaningful alongside each of you.

Our LOD Pearls who helped create the mural:

  • Maya James

  • Angelica Fede

  • La’Shonte Joseph

  • Darines Sanchez

  • Kirby Angela Corpuz

  • Nyesha Reed

  • Adaina Smith

  • Sole Rogers

  • A’Nyra Richards

  • Brianna Arjune

  • NaTalia Roumo

  • Catrice Benjamin

And to Mrs. Nurse, Ms. Maakheru, Mrs. Marsh-Ventura, and Ms. King, thank you for walking with me in this sisterhood journey. Your support and encouragement mean more than words can express.

This mural is more than paint on a wall. It is a symbol of unity, creativity, and the power of women working together.
